A black Dodge Charger collided with a compact car in the eastbound lanes of the EC Row Expressway about 500 meters west of Banwell around 11:30pm Friday night.
The compact car sustained moderate front end damage and spun out 180 degrees, coming to rest in the emergency turn-about area in the median of the expressway. EMS reported that an occupant in the compact car was ejected from the vehicle and landed in the median ditch.
Meanwhile, according to police, the driver of the other vehicle involved, a black Dodge Charger, drove away and continued it’s course eastbound into Tecumseh, without stopping to check on the well being of the other driver.
Windsor Fire & Rescue was called to help locate the ejected occupant of the compact vehicle.
If you spot a black Dodge Charger with either front end or rear end damage, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477. Unfortunately, no plate information was obtained.
