Central Avenue Bridge Repairs Start Monday

Southbound Central Avenue will be reduced to one lane leading to the Central Avenue Overpass, over the EC Row expressway, starting Monday October, 18th, 2021.
This is the first of three phases of bridgework that will impact drivers between October 18th and November 7th, 2021. Dates will be released for each stage as they draw nearer, and the work will generally include:
- Stage 1 – Southbound Central Avenue reduced to one lane
- Stage 2 – Closure of entire structure for one weekend for asphalt resurfacing and line painting
- Stage 3 – Nightly closure of structure from 7pm to 5am, reopened for daytime traffic
