The 2018 Detroit Free Press/Chemical Bank Marathon took place Sunday, starting off with crossing international borders at the Ambassador Bridge before crossing them once again at the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.
This year’s marathon featured new opportunities, with an added Saturday run “The Temptation” which was a 1-mile run and 5K run. Additionally, challenges named “The Wonder” and “The Supreme” were added, with the former being a 1-mile, 5K international half marathon and the latter being a 1-mile, 5K full marathon running on both Saturday and Sunday.
