Local Children’s Centres Receive Funding For Upgrades

Four local children’s centres are receiving funding from the Ontario Government.
The Hotel-Dieu Grace Heathcare-Regional Children’s Centre will receive $95,000 for upgrades to the building automation system controls and alarms on existing equipment, as well as for repairs to a second floor air condition unit and to repair a second floor joist.
Maryvale is receiving $687,000 to replace kitchen cupboards, counter tops, and under counter piping. They will also replace the main reception counter, cupboards and shelving, and will replace windows and use some for upgrades to the roof, electrical systems, alarms, heating and cooling systems.
New Beginnings will see $95,000 for masonry work on base of building and to replace heating and cooling units.
The Inn of Windsor will get $50,000 for new windows and for repairs to plaster/drywall and to paint interior rooms.
