A Windsor man is $100,000 richer after playing Lotto Max With Encore.
David Isherwood of Windsor matched six of seven winning numbers on his Encore selection.
“I checked my ticket at the self-scanner. When it read ‘Big Winner’ I immediately started shaking,” said Isherwood while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I couldn’t wait to get home and surprise my wife!”
David, a bartender and father of two already has some plans for his windfall. “I’m going to take care of some bills, pay off my student loan and make some upgrades to our home,” he beamed.
Encore can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. OLG says there is an Encore draw every day.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer Snack Express on Jefferson Boulevard in Windsor.
