The St. Clair College Athletic Department has chosen not to renew Men’s Basketball Head Coach Matt Devin and has begun a search to fill the post.
“We are very appreciative of Matt’s efforts with the Men’s Basketball program at St. Clair”, stated St. Clair Vice President Ron Seguin. “Matt was very hardworking and meticulous in his preparation for practices and games while advocating for his players. He also helped us during the transition into the new SportsPlex”.
Devin spent a total of ten seasons with the Saints Men’s Basketball program beginning as an Assistant Coach in 2006 and was at the helm for the past sixyears.
As a Head Coach, his best finish was in 2013-14 when St. Clair placed 4th in the West Region and hosted a cross-over play-off game.
The St. Clair Athletic Department begins its search right away to fill the vacancy and interested applicants can contact Ted Beale by phone at 519-972-2727 Ext. 4214 for information. Resumes can be emailed to [email protected].
