Windsor firefighters are battling a fire at an apartment building on Ouellette Avenue.
Crews were called around 5:30pm to 810 Ouellette for reports of a fire in the building’s garbage chute. Firefighters battled the blaze while smoke drifted out onto floors.
Damage to the garbage chute and second floor is set at $30,000.
The cause is still under investigation
