Artcite kicked off their 33rd annual “Doin’ The Louvre” fundraising exhibition with a gala reception, Friday evening.
Around 56 artists from Windsor-Essex and the Detroit area engaged themselves in this year’s exhibit and submitted more than 400 pieces of art for sale.
The artists get 70 per cent of their sale proceeds, the remaining sales goes towards supporting Artcite’s programing.
Items being sold included artwork and framed photographs hung on the walls, as well as jewelry, scarves and sculptures shown around the gallery.
All items are being sold for $99 or less.
The holiday show and sale spans from November 28th to December 24th.
