The City of Windsor is looking for your help to showcase the history of Windsor in an upcoming museum display – Windsor A to Zed!
Windsor A to Zed will highlight various iconic or significant Windsor images, artifacts, events, words, places, or people. Ultimately, each letter will be accompanied by a photo, word or artifact and displayed in the concourse of Windsor’s Community Museum expansion at 401 Riverside Drive West.
They are asking for suggestions in creating this list and your suggestions can be in English or in French, such as A=Automobile, Assumption, B=Big V Drug Store, Bootlegging, Bienvenue, C=Cannon ball, Cadillac, Ceinture flechée, D=Dominion Tavern, Detroit River, E=Emancipation Day, Erie Street, Eau and F=François Baby, Ferry.
They will be accepting creative ideas via the City of Windsor Facebook page or the museum email: [email protected], from October 8th through 22nd.
