This past Sunday there was a huge roar of thunder as over 170 Harley Davidsons, and many other bikes fired up their engines to support the Kiwanis Sunshine Camp.
The huge procession left the Dominion House Tavern where breakfast was served and headed down Riverside Drive. This ride took a route through many towns with stops at the D2RS in Belle River, Rhine Danube Club in Leamington, and then along Heritage Road in order to let the children at the Sunshine Camp experience the rush of thunder with a drive by wave.
The huge line of bikes wound their way through Essex County ending their trip at the Colchester Bar and Grill where a BBQ and Live entertainment was waiting.
Original estimates put the amount raised at over $9,000, but a figure released on Tuesday evening stated that over$18,000 was raised.
