Gusty winds and cold temperatures have prompted Environment Canada to issue a Wind Chill Warning for Windsor and Essex County.
Environment Canada says there’s a 60% of flurries early this afternoon and the chance for local blowing snow
Wind are northwest at 40 km/h gusting to 60.
The temperature will fall to -14°C this afternoon.
Wind chill values near minus 30 are expected at times this afternoon and are expected to dip to minus 35 this evening.
Wind chills will improve Friday morning as temperatures struggle upward a few degrees under the strengthening late February sun.
