UPDATED: Driver Charged After County Road 37 Crash

One person has been charged following a morning crash.

Police say that the two-vehicle collision happened just after 5:30am Friday on County Road 37 Road north of County Road 18 in Leamington.

They say a pickup truck and a Tractor trailer were involved. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old driver from Mississauga has been charged with careless driving.

County Road 37 was closed for a short time but has since been reopened.
