Members of The Future of Curling Windsor-Essex Committee and volunteers from the Roseland Curling community are hosting a final year-end bonspiel at Roseland Golf and Curling Club on Saturday, April 13th
Last year, the City of Windsor voted to remove curling from Roseland’s Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex starting with the 2024-25 curling season.
Curlers, non-curlers and Windsor-Essex community members are invited to gather at Roseland Curling Club to celebrate and send it off.
Those participating in the bonspiel will arrive in the morning and play two draws in teams made up of members of all six Roseland leagues.
Those who are not curling, other curling club members, and Windsor-Essex residents are invited to join the festivities any time after 12:30pm.
A bagpiper will pipe the curlers on for the second draw at 1:00pm and the Closing Ceremonies take place at 3:30pm.
