Capital Power has pledged up to $10,000 in matching funds for the Windsor Residence for Young Men Season of Giving campaign in support of their Transitional Housing, Outreach, Aftercare, and Life skills programming for youth experiencing homelessness.
“Capital Power’s investment in us is incredibly inspiring” said Jason Weinberg, Executive Director of WRYM. “It will give our donors and supporters a lot of confidence knowing that their contribution is doubled, and we cannot thank Capital Power enough for being a partner in this campaign.”
Donations to WRYM’s Season of Giving can be made online, as found on www.wrym.ca, by mail or in person at 1505 Langlois Avenue.
Last year, during the 2021 Season of Giving campaign, Capital Power also provided $10,000 dollars in matching funds.
“We are proud to support the exceptional work being done at The Windsor Residence for Young Men,” said Matthew Bitzer, Plant Manager, East Windsor Cogeneration Centre, Capital Power. “Capital Power believes it is very important to help these youth find new homes and build fulfilling lives, especially with winter coming and the cold weather setting in.”
The campaign runs until Christmas Day.
