The Windsor Islamic community broke ground Wednesday on a five-building, 30-unit senior residential development.
Located at the corner of Dominion and Northwood Street, the development sits on 1.3 acres, adjacent to the east of the Windsor Mosque, and will consist of five buildings, all two storeys in height.
Each apartment building will have six individual apartments that are geared to the Windsor Islamic senior population.
