Pride Fest returns this week in Windsor.
The annual Pride Fest bowling takes place at Rosebowl Lanes on Thursday, August 4th, 2022 7:00pm.
“UNPLUGGED,” a FREE event MC’d by Windsor’s own Mel Lucier, features exciting live entertainment, including Strange Cats, Motes & Oats, Nikki Holland & The Dirty Elizabeths, Carly Thomas, Alisabeth Von Pressley, Disco Jesus and Hawaii Goodvibes takes place at Lanspeary Park on Friday, August 5th, 2022 from 5:00pm to midnight.
The Run for Rocky returns this year to Dieppe Gardens starting at 10:00am Saturday, August 6th.
PRIDEFEST Saturday Marketplace will feature over 35 merchant booths of unique products, food and beverage sold by individual food vendors, a kids zone and various local entertainment throughout the day. It takes place at Lanspeary Park starting at 11:00am.
Also at Lanspeary Park on Saturday is the Windsor Rainbow Sports Club Kickball Championship Game at 3:00pm, Textiles Fashion Show at 6:00pm, and Queens of Pride at 8:00pm.
The annual Pride Fest Parade will be held on Sunday, August 7th, 2022, at 11:00am, beginning at Argyle Road & Ottawa Street and proceeding down Ottawa Street to the Lanspeary Park at Langlois Avenue.
After the parade, a day is planned filled with live entertainment, special performances, presentations and much more. The event will also feature a cash bar, over 35+ food and merchant vendors, activities and much more. Donations at the gate will be collected to help fund the cost of the event.
