The 42nd annual Art in the Park event broke their annual attendance record, with more than 40,000 people passing through the park on June 4th and 5th.
“One exhibitor who sold out on the first day returned home to London to retrieve more product and returned Sunday,” said co-chair Allan Kidd. “And, first-time exhibitor Clive Kay, originally from South Africa, was thrilled by the response he received at Art in the Park. He said sales in Windsor far surpassed those from any show in many years.”
Kay said he’s eager to return to the show and was so grateful that he donated several works for the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) to use for further fundraising.
Proceeds raised from this year’s event will continue to support the restoration of Willistead Manor and support local and global community service projects through The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918).
“Just when you think you’ve seen it all at Art in the Park, we keep finding really one-of-a-kind talent to enhance an already great event,” says co-chair Jennifer Charron. “After a very successful weekend, we’re excited to start planning for Art in the Park 2023!”
