The Colosseum performance venue inside Caesars Windsor will be reopening for concerts and shows starting this December, casino officials announced Tuesday afternoon.
The casino says as capacity restrictions are further eased for venues with vaccination requirements, Caesars Entertainment will be reopening the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor beginning Saturday, December 11th, 2021.
The reopening will take place 20 months after the venue was forced to close at the onset of the pandemic.
The first shows scheduled include REO Speedwagon, followed by The Tenors, Alice Cooper, Slash, and Shinedown.
“We are ecstatic to bring live entertainment back to Caesars Windsor for our guests, employees, and the community,” said Kevin Laforet, President, Caesars Windsor. “There is nothing like the feeling and energy of a live music experience and we are thrilled to showcase an impressive lineup for The Colosseum.”
In addition to opening The Colosseum, the province has announced the easing of capacity restrictions for all locations with vaccination certificate mandates.
