Driver In Critical Condition After Motorcycle Crash On Highway 18

A motorcycle driver suffered what LaSalle Police call serious and potentially life-threatening injuries after a crash in the town.
Just before midnight Saturday, police say an adult male was driving the motorcycle northbound on Highway 18 just north of the Turkey Creek Bridge towards Windsor when it struck the raised median causing the driver to lose control.
The driver remains in critical condition in hospital.
The LaSalle Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit and Forensic Identification Unit were on scene to assist with the investigation and kept the road closed until just after 4:00 am.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
