The streets of Downtown Windsor will close Saturday and Sunday for another weekend of patio tables, sidewalk sales, and fun.
While streets are closed, cycle down to one of the brand new parklets, stop to watch some high-flying aerial performers from Elixia Performance Arts and Windsor Circus School or listen to one of the musical acts, sponsored in part by the School of Creative Arts at the University of Windsor.
“Each weekend we do this it gets more and more exciting,” says Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association Chair Brian Yeomans. “If you haven’t come down for one of the closed streets weekends yet, don’t miss another one! See you downtown.”
As Windsor has entered Stage 3 under the provincial guidelines, downtown establishments have adjusted their restrictions to accommodate these new regulations. Physical distancing and mask wearing remain in place, and are enforced by all downtown establishments where necessary.
