Construction continues on the second phase of the Huron Church reconstruction project.
Work on the project began in mid April and includes new concrete, curbs, sidewalks, medians and street lighting.
Traffic has been shifted over to the lanes normally used for southbound traffic, allowing reconstruction work to commence on the northbound lanes.
In addition, Malden Road between Daytona and Huron Church is closed. Eastbound Malden Road has a posted detour with no left turn allowed at the Huron Church intersection.
The entire project is expected to be finished by late summer.
