The washrooms at the LaSalle Boat Ramp remain closed until further notice. Residents should bring hand sanitizer with them to clean their hands often.
LaSalle, as well as areas in Essex County and Windsor, continue to be under a Flood Watch as issued by the Essex Region Conservation Authority. Front Road, and the streets west of Front Road, may experience overland flooding during rainfall events and/or in cases of high winds, wind speed and wind direction. In some cases, the tow says it is likely that the LaSalle Boat Ramp and parking lot will experience flooding.
COVID-19 precautions and emergency orders remain in place. Guidelines provided by the Windsor Essex County Health Unit and Province of Ontario advise that there not be any groups of more than 5 people congregating, to practice physical distancing (remaining two metres or six feet apart from others) at all times while loading/unloading boats, and while on the waterways.
