There will be no strike at Transit Windsor.
A tentative deal has been reached between Transit Windsor and the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 616, which means all Transit Windsor bus services will run as normal on Monday.
The Union had provided Transit with a 72 hour strike notice on Thursday, prompting Transit Windsor to inform riders that they may need to plan for alternate transportation on Monday. That is no longer the case though, as a tentative agreement is in place.
No details on the agreement will be shared until both the union membership and Windsor City Council have ratified it.
