Volunteers Needed To Clean LaSalle Strawberries

In preparation for the LaSalle Strawberry Festival, volunteers are needed to help clean strawberries on Wednesday, June 5th, 2019.

The Town of LaSalle orders about 300 flats of strawberries each June for the LaSalle Strawberry Festival that are grown locally at Raymont’s Berries in Cottam.

If you would like to help get them ready, you are asked to meet at the LaSalle Fire Service at 6pm.

High school volunteer forms can be signed for community service hours..

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival takes place Thursday, June 6th to Sunday, June 9th at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex. Strawberries and ice cream can be purchased at the festival, as well as quarts of fresh strawberries.
