A building boom continues in Lakeshore with four development applications approved Tuesday.
- A commercial Scuba Dive, Equipment and Training Facility complete with an in-door pool is being developed by James Sylvester Developments for Deco Investments Inc. on Croft Drive.
- A manufacturing facility expansion is proceeding on Jutras Drive in the Patillo Road employment area for Erie Architectural which designs and fabricates large-scale glass façade systems.
- Tilbury Auto Sales & RV on County Road 42 is expanding its commercial facility.
- The Forest Hill Subdivision in the community of Belle River will create an additional 113 residential lots.
Lakeshore Council also gave the approval to proceed with acquiring the necessary parcels of land along the Patillo Rd. corridor as part of a planned major road, drainage and traffic upgrade project to help meet the needs of the businesses and workers in the area.
