Girl Assaulted At Willistead Park

Police are actively seeking a suspect after a teenager was sexually assaulted at Willistead Park on Wednesday.

Police say a female in her teens was walking through the pathway at Willistead Park in Walkerville around 9am, Wednesday when she was approached by an unknown male riding a bike.

The male began accosting the female and making inappropriate comments. The female continued walking away and told police that the male then touched her inappropriately from behind. The female confronted the male and he fled from the area.

He was last seen riding his bike east on Richmond Street.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35-40 years old, skinny build, thin hair with receding hairline, last seen wearing a dark orange sweatshirt and light gray jogging pants. He was seen riding a purple mountain bike.
