Windsor City Council has voted to contract out janitor services at Huron Lodge.
The vote was 5 to 5 with Mayor Drew Dilkens casting the tie-breaking vote to contract out the services.
City Administration says the city can save $605,000 a year with a one-time cost of $1.9 million to fund the transition of displaced workers to other city jobs.
