Monday evening, Windsor City Council will be asked to approve a 2.19% property tax increase to pay for the city portion of the proposed new mega-hospital.
This would be an additional $60 on the average property tax bill.
The tax would be eliminated in 2028 when the $108 million of the local share has been raised.
The county of share works out to $92 million.
