A furnace fire caused $75,000 in damage to a Remington Park home this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the 1600 block of Southdale just after 3pm and discovered a fire that had spread from a clothes dryer, up an adjoining wall and onto the first floor of the home.
Crews managed to halt the fire in its tracks on the first floor, preventing further damage.
Windsor Fire says that their investigation has not provided a clear cause.
