Strong storms entering Windsor and Essex County have prompted Environment Canada to issue a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.
They say:
At 1:20 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, dime to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
The thunderstorms are located along a southwest to northeast line over eastern Lower Michigan near the international border and are moving northeast at 75 km/h. Wind gusts of 90 km/h or greater will be possible with these thunderstorms.
