Windsor firefighters have put out a small blaze at Chrysler’s Windsor Assembly Plant.
Crews were called to the plant’s Gate 4 around 5:30pm for a report of smoke in the plant in the area of the ceiling and roof.
Firefighters pulled apart areas of the roof to fight the blaze which was contained to an area of roughly 8 meters.
By 7pm the fire had been extinguished.
The cause was accidental ignition.
Police blocked traffic on Chrysler Centre between Grand Marais and Somme.
No injuries are reported.
