Campus Community Police at the University of Windsor recently moved into their new permanent location at the Joyce Entrepreneurship Centre.
There new office is staffed 24 hours per day, and can easily be accessed on the ground floor through a set of glass doors located on Sunset Avenue across from the School of Music building and just south of the Wyandotte Street intersection.
This is the fifth location for Campus Police in as many years. In the spring of 2011 they were forced to move out of their old location with only an hour’s notice and they took up space with Parking Services in the CAW Student Center. They then moved to a temporary summer location in the Cartier Hall Dorm on Wyandotte.
In August of 2011 they moved into a old house on Sunset behind the Odette School of Business building, where they were until they moved. The old office will be torn down as part of the campus master plan.
Campus Police will also share space with Parking Services who moved in to the building in early December.
