A worker doing repairs at Hiram Walker became stuck when his cherrypicker lift malfunctioned in the air and had to be rescued by the fire department.
Firefighters were called just before 1pm to Riverside Driver and Walker Road and found the worker stuck a fair height off the ground.
Crews called in a 95 foot ladder truck from Fire Station 4 on College Avenue to assist.
Firefighters used the truck’s aerial platform to rescue the worker around 1:30pm.
He was not injured and EMS was not required.
