A new art supplies business has opened in Ford City.
Susan’s Art For All was created in collaboration between Drouillard Place and the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Marne Noestheden and Laura Gould, and will receive and recycle tens of tons of materials from local businesses per year, serve thousands of children and students by assisting community organizations and classrooms and sell products online to carry the mission of Susan’s Art for All as far afield as possible.
“We’re very excited to be opening in Ford City,” says Noestheden. “Susan’s Art for All will sell arts-based project supplies for programming and personal use. These supplies will be repurposed from donated post-industrial and personal items and can be used in schools, at community events, and by individuals.”
The business is named after artist Susan Dingler who died in 2008.
Susan’s Art For All opened last Friday and is located at 998 Drouillard Road.
