Today’s winter storm has forced several area businesses, schools and organizations to close and cancel services on Wednesday February 5th, 2014.

Here’s a list of public services and schools cancelled today:
- School buses are cancelled in both Windsor and throughout Essex County
- St. Clair College has cancelled all classes at all campuses after 12 noon
- Afternoon classes are cancelled at TriOS College
- Afternoon classes are cancelled at Everest College
- Meals on Wheels is cancelled
- Both local Life After Fifty locations are closed
- Maranatha Christian Academy is closed
- The John Campbell boys basketball game is cancelled
- Lancer Basketball games against the Western Mustangs have been postponed
- Riverside Sport’s Badminton Club at St. Joseph’s HS is cancelled this evening
And local business closures today:
- Breakaway Gaming Centre is closed until Thursday at 10am
- Harmony Day Spa will be closed for the rest of the day
- Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards is closed
- May’s Boutique at Riverside Plaza is closed
- Ten Thousand Villages is closed
- Essex Stained Glass is closed and all classes are cancelled
- Manscape Barbershop on Parent Avenue is closed
- Interstate Batteries on Walker Road will be closed until tomorrow
