A new festival is heading to Windsor this September.
Car Pro Industries Windsor Limited is looking to host EV Fest 2014 over the weekend of September 27th and 28th.
The festival is billed as the 1st annual North America International Electric Vehicle Festival and Parade featuring a two-day hyper-interactive EV-cultural event.
Organizers say the event is an opportunity for companies and the general public to participate in an event that aims to raise awareness in the environmental responsive alternative energy industry sectors.
The event will feature an electric vehicle expo, demonstrations, and an attempt to break a Guinness World Record for electronic vehicle operation including a 24 hour distance on a golf cart and a 24 hour distance on a mobility scooter record.
A parade of electric vehicles will be held along Riverside Drive from Ouellette to Huron Church on September 28th.
