Members of Unifor Local 195 and 2458 at the University of Windsor voted overwhelmingly in support of new collective bargaining agreements this evening, eliminating any chance of going on strike.
- Operating Engineers voted 100% in favour
- Campus Police and Parking Services voted 92% in favour
- Full-time Office and Clerical voted 97% in favour
Meanwhile CUPE Local 1393 is entering their second week on the picket line with no new talks scheduled at this time.
CUPE 1001, which represents food service workers, housekeeping and grounds crews resume negations on Tuesday with a strike deadline of 12:01am Monday.
