The Windsor Minor Hockey Association All Stars will take on some of the NHL’s most famed and beloved alumni when they face off against a team of Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association at the WFCU Centre Friday November 8th.
Proceeds from this event will go to support the Canadian Diabetes Association’s mission to help lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while they work to find a cure. Currently Diabetes is a serious disease in Canada. More than 3 million Canadians have diabetes and more than 6 million have pre-diabetes.
The Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Charity Benefit Game promises to be a fantastic family event and will include lots of skill and lots of laughs. The game will be 2 hours of action-packed entertainment featuring a full line-up of hockey favourites, which will be named at a later date.
