Community Day Event To Showcase NASCAR Driver’s Car

Each year, Formula One Collision plans a Community Open House and Family Fun Day to give back to the Neighbourhood, and this year The Safety Village has been selected as the benefactor of the event.
This family fun event will feature fun and safety learning activities for all ages, all revolving around the “Cars” theme. A Power Wheels Jeep trail, Hot Wheels races for the kids, while kids and parents can learn about a number of safety topics as well as automobile maintenance and more.
Various community organizations will also be onsite to provide information on a variety of health and safety topics.
The Formula One Bistro will be open to the public over the duration of the day as well as an exotic car show for auto enthusiasts. Nascar driver Jeff Gordon’s car is one of many to be on display.
Cost is only $5 per person, with one free adult admission with purchase of one child admission. All proceeds from the day go towards the ongoing operations and development of The Safety Village’s community safety programs.
The fun takes place on Sunday at Formula One Collision located at 9420 Tecumseh Road East from 10am to 4pm.
