Another Month ‘Till Walker Road Construction Wraps Up

Drivers whose daily commute includes Walker Road will have to wait at least another month before construction wraps up between the EC Row Expressway and Foster Avenue.
The work, which began mid March, was originally scheduled to be complete on Saturday June 29th. However, a City of Windsor construction report now pegs the work to be finished by the end of this month.
One lane of traffic in each direction remains open.
Work has included new cement road surface, the addition on a center turn lane, new curbs, sidewalks and watermains.
