Cabana / Provincial Intersection To Be Shut Down

A major route to the Walker Road big box shopping area in South Windsor is about to be shut down.
Canada Road East by the railway tracks, west of Provincial Road, will be closed to traffic on a temporary basis starting Thursday at 5am. Construction is expected to last approximately four weeks to Friday November 30th at midnight. The rest of the existing detour on Division Road and at the Cabana/Sixth Concession Road temporary intersection will remain the same without changes.
The road closure will facilitate reconstruction of Provincial and Cabana Road and the installation of underground infrastructure at the CN right-of-way. Construction on the intersection has been on going since the start of summer, and is expected to be wrapped up by year end.
