A special meeting of the Windsor Essex Catholic School Board will be held Tuesday night to receive public input on the Director of Education’s report on the Fontainebleau Accommodation Review study, which includes St. Alexander and W.J. Langlois Catholic Grade Schools.
The recommendation on the table is to close St. Alexander and merge the students into the W.J. Langlois site. The board report says St. Alexander would open again for classes in September, but students would move in late fall to W.J. Langlois once renovations to that school are complete to house the new students.
The meeting will be held at St. Joseph High school starting at 6:30pm. After gathering the public input, the board will make its final decision son June 26th.
