Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

Next week is March Break and once again elementary, secondary, and post-secondary students are getting a price break on Transit Windsor bus fares.

Starting on Sunday and running until next Saturday March 17th, students will pay a buck each way instead of the regular cash fare of $2.50!

The special fare applies to all city buses, but excludes the tunnel bus and special event services.

All students have to do is show a valid student card when paying their fare.

This is the fourth straight year for this promotion.  It first started in 2008, when the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee proposed a $1 bus fare during March Break to the Transit Windsor Board with the objective of increasing the number of student riders during March Break and promoting the benefits of using public transit.
