Windsor Stadium — home of the Windsor Stars Soccer Team — on McDougall Avenue is being recommended as an addition to Windsor’s Municipal Heritage Registry.
The stadium stands, built in 1929, feature stucco walls and a “stepped parapet” and stand as a reminder of Windsor’s past athletic heritage.
As a result of being placed on the Heritage Register, the building is protected from demolition unless approved by City Council.
