Caesars Windsor announced this morning, the return of the “Empress of Soul”, Gladys Knight on Saturday April 28th at 9pm.
A multi-grammy award winner, Knight is one of Motown’s legendary singer-songwriters with dozens of hit singles with the Pips and solo including “Neither One of Us,” “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” and “Midnight Train to Georgia”.
Tickets start at $30 Canadian. Caesars Windsor also welcomes the soul/pop sixties sensations The 5th Dimension, performing on the Colosseum stage with two shows at 3pm and 8pm on Thursday April 12th.
Their hit single “Up, Up, and Away” released in 1967, put them on the musical map, winning five Grammys. The group went on to release a dozen gold and platinum albums with groovy classics like “Wedding Bell Blue,” “Stoned Soul Picnic” and “Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In.” Performing on stage are: Florence LaRue, Willie Williams, Leonard Tucker, Patrice Morrice and Floyd Smith.
Tickets start at $15 Canadian. Tickets for both shows go on sale at noon on Friday, January 20th.
