This Saturday at the Caboto Club, the Council of Canadians will be hosting an Alternative Energy Teach-In.
This event is open to anyone who is interested in ‘Green energy and conservation strategies for the home and community’. The Teach In’s featured speaker will be Sean Moore, Founder and CEO of Windsor’s own Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies. The topic to be discussed will be grass root carbon mitigation strategies, and explain how residential homeowners can profit from government programs while simultaneously fuelling Windsor’s new green manufacturing sector.
“This is a great way to educate the public on the environmental and local economic benefits of green energy technologies. It is my sincere hope that this teach in will be the catalyst for a local approach to carbon reduction, and promote the development of the alternative energy sector in Windsor Essex”, says Sean Moore, CEO Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies Inc.
The event runs from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday January 7th at the Caboto Club, corner of Parent and Tecumseh Road East in Windsor.
