On Saturday, October 22nd 2011 Cystic Fibrosis Canada – Essex-Kent Chapter will be hosting the 11th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Bowl-a-thon in Memory of Renee Boivin at Super Bowl Lanes in Windsor. This year the Windsor Spitfires will join in the fun as well by bowling with the participants and signing autographs for those who register for the event. Players confirmed to date are as follows Adam Bateman, Ben Johnson, Ty Bilicke and others to be confirmed.
All proceeds benefit Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Essex-Kent Chapter. This event is held in memory of the Renee Boivin who lost her battle with cystic fibrosis in July of 2001 at the age of 19.
Spitfires Johnson, Cullen and Bowen will throw the first three balls down the lanes at 2:00 pm. Registration is $15.00 per adult and $10.00 per child or collect $25.00 in pledges on behalf of Cystic Fibrosis Canada and bowl for FREE! For pledge forms call 519-252-2850
