Tornado warning for
Windsor – Leamington – Essex County upgraded from Severe thunderstorm warning
At 5:06 PM EDT weather radar and lightning detector indicated a cluster of intense thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes. Wind gusts up to 120 km/h are likely. These storms are located over south of Essex and are moving east at 60 km/h.
Severe thunderstorms likely producing tornadoes are imminent or occurring in the area. Large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall may also accompany these storms.
Monitor weather conditions and take immediate safety precautions if threatening weather approaches.
