Leamington’s Seacliff Park took a direct hit during last June’s tornado. Most of the parks trees were either knocked down, or severely damaged. Since then, dozens of new trees have been planted, mature trees that could be saved were trimmed, and three stumps of tress that came down turned into art work. The park was already in the midst of a $1.1 Million dollar make over when the tornado hit. New walking trails and a splash pad have now also been added to the park.
