For the second year in a row, Windsor has won the annual Tug Across the River!
Around 100 people gathered at Dieppe Park on Windsor’s Riverfront to watch Team Windsor compete against the Detroit Firefighters.
The yearly competition, where volunteers pull in a long rope stretched to the middle of the river, was over in three minutes and forty-nine seconds.
The American team finished with a time of 4:01.
Canada is NOW tied with the USA after twenty-six years of the event: the Americans and Canadians have each won 13 times!
